Tickets on sale now for “A Night on Broadway”

Central United Methodist Church, downtown Lansing, MI

215 N. Capitol Ave – May 11th @ 7pm

Come enjoy a collection of songs from various Broadway shows performed by soloists from the Steiner Chorale. This performance is in conjunction with The Steiner Chorale’s annual fundraiser and continues the celebration of the Chorale’s 50th season. Light refreshments will be served.  A silent auction will occur throughout the night of the concert.  All people are encouraged to bid on items displayed, but certainly not a requirement to enjoy the concert.  Concert is at 7pm in the historic Central United Methodist Church across from the capitol building.  All proceeds go to fund the Chorale’s concert season and their sponsorship of the Ethel J. Armeling Vocal Scholarship, an annual competition for Michigan-area high school students.  Purchase your tickets at www.steinerchorale.org/tickets .

Commemorative CD for 50th Season released

To help commemorate the 50th Season of the Steiner Chorale the Steiner Chorale has compiled a collection of recordings from many of our 50 years of performing great choral music to the greater Lansing area.  The CD is entitled, “Steiner Chorale: 50 Years of Jubilant Song”.  This CD is not intended to be a selection representing “best of” performances of the chorale. Rather, these contents reflect an amalgam of performances of varying quality and varied recording mediums that we’ve selected as representative of our years of making music.

A very special thanks to longstanding Steiner member, Leo Sell, for putting this CD together.  To order your copy of this CD, click here.

Please come to one of The Steiner Chorale’s performances of Mozart’s Requiem and Gustav Holst’s “Two Psalms”.

A special thanks to Lansing Moving

The Steiner Chorale would like to thank Ken Burton and Lansing Moving as a Gold Corporate Sponsor for the 2016-17 concert season.  Since Steiner often performs concerts in venues built before handicap accessibility, Lansing Moving will be providing the Chorale with the necessary ramps to alleviate this concern.

lansing_moving_logoThe Steiner Chorale is a non-profit organization.  For more information on how your business could sponsor the Chorale, click here.

Again, the Steiner Chorale thanks Ken Burton and Lansing Moving for their generosity and continued support.
